**The Opportunity**As the Services Project Manager for Power Conversion Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Grid Automation (GA), you will oversee system engineering activities within the Grid Automation business.
Your primary responsibility will be managing service contracts in BESS applications, with a focus on the Akaysha Waratah and Ulinda projects.
**How You'll Make An Impact**Lead project teams, define guidelines, allocate tasks, and monitor resources to meet milestones, including project planning, scope, and financial management.Ensure project execution aligns with best practices and company policies, monitor progress, manage risks, and facilitate project closure and customer acceptance.Manage contracts, procurement, and stakeholder relationships, acting as the main contact for project issues and customer communication.Promote safety culture on-site, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and support incident investigations and corrective actions.Maintain project documentation, foster customer relationships, and collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams for technical and procurement activities.Provide leadership and support to team members, share knowledge, and contribute to process improvements.Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards, embodying Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.
**Your Background**Degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or equivalent; strong technical knowledge in power systems and electrical engineering.3-5 years of experience in site execution and delivery of power system services, including automation, generation, or control technologies.Experience in heavy industry sectors like mining, oil and gas.Proficiency in engineering software, proactive organization, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
