You understand that great frontend development isn't just about React components - it's about understanding the full data journey from backend to user actions.
You're comfortable taking ownership of systems, learning proprietary technologies, and becoming the go-to expert for critical parts of our product.Experience with state management (Redux preferred)Understanding of full-stack architecture and RESTful/GraphQL APIsComfortable with data visualisation and reporting interfacesSelf-directed learner who enjoys mastering new technologiesClear communicator who can work across technical and operational teamsExcited by the challenge of industrial IoT and real-time data systems, making an impact in the real worldSome of the things you will doYou'll join our Product Engineering team as our frontend technical lead, working closely with our platform teams to deliver powerful user experiences across web applications, industrial touchscreens, and reporting dashboards.Own and evolve our React-based frontend architecture across multiple productsBuild and maintain data-heavy reporting interfaces and visualization componentsDevelop touchscreen applications for mining equipment operatorsLead frontend aspects of new customer deployments and configurationsCollaborate with backend engineers on API design and data flow optimizationMentor other engineers on frontend best practicesTake ownership of key systems including our operator interfaces and analytics dashboardsThis role is critical to our product's success - you'll be the bridge between our rich data platform and the mine site operators who rely on our insights every day.
You'll have significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape how we present complex operational data to users with varying technical backgrounds.4+ years of commercial frontend development experienceExpert-level React skills with demonstrable complex application experienceExperience with state management patterns and data flow architectureExposure to full-stack development (Node.js, Python experience valued)Track record of owning and maintaining production systemsComfortable with deployment pipelines and basic DevOps conceptsExperience with industrial or IoT applicationsReact Native or other mobile/touchscreen developmentExperience with data visualisation libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, or similar)Experience with real-time data systemsOur TechnologyWe work with a range of technologies across the full spectrum of data at scale.
