If you're looking for regular, ongoing work and have, or would like to develop, hands-on experience processing and weighing food ingredients, you might be ideally suited to join our team and be involved in processing the ingredients we use in our Vegie Magic products.

Located in Dandenong, you will be working in a small self-managed team responsible for cooking, dicing, slicing, weighing, and batching food ingredients including vegetables, fresh herbs, chickpeas, lentils and more. You will also be involved in cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils, and your work areas.

If this position is suitable for you, you need to be flexible, energetic, and self-motivated, happy working in a small team environment, and be available to be rostered to work from **11:00AM - 8:00 PM Monday to Friday** with flexibility to work earlier or later when required.

Ideally you:

- have 2-3 years demonstrated food handling experience involving the processing and weighing of food ingredients
- are committed to workplace safety, food safety and hold a food handler certificate
- are experienced in cleaning and sanitising kitchen utensils and food processing equipment
- are physically fit and strong able to lift up to 15kg
- can demonstrate good communication and record keeping skills
- can demonstrate the ability to use a walky stacker

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 - $27.50 per hour
