Our Tip Top Springwood site is looking for a dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team and lead by example.
Reporting to the Production Manager this role will coach and develop the team to deliver production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Purpose of the Role
Manage clear expectations for the team, provide appropriate resources and tools to get the job done, along with high support and high challenge
Consistently provide open and honest, candid feedback 'in the moment', recognising people for doing great work, and addressing performance issues early
Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems within any facet of the work environment
Collaborate with the supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and make necessary amendments to the production plan
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment that does not tolerate unsafe behaviour or acts
Ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to
Support change and foster an environment where change is embraced
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Min 2+ years in a Supervisory or leadership role
FMCG or other fast paced production/manufacturing experience would be highly regarded
Proven leadership skills
Ability to prioritise workload
Extensive problem-solving skills and ability to identify a way forward when presented with issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
