We are seeking a remarkable Senior Associate to join our high performing Commercial Litigation practice in BrisbaneThis role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to:Join an Australian tier-one practiceCollaborate and contribute to a high performing and impactful teamOpportunity to work on significant, complex litigation mattersThe roleOur Brisbane Commercial Litigation practice currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join their growing practice.
This exciting opportunity sits within the largest Commercial Litigation practice in Queensland under Partner Chris Erfurt.
Chris and his team have a well-respected reputation in the market and are considered as trusted advisers to various corporate and government clients.This role has a high level of client interaction and will see you managing client relationships, shaping the strategic direction of matters, working closely with counsel and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with this high performing team and have access to the expertise of other partners across the practice group.Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have:Experience in a Senior Associate position Demonstrated experience in a range of litigious mattersPreferably, some experience in insurance mattersStrong academic achievementsFamiliarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigationThe ability to project manage and drive matters through to completionA passion for mentoring, supervising and delegating work to more junior lawyersA strong focus on delivering exceptional client serviceHighly developed interpersonal and communication skills; required for building effective client relationships and contributing to a positive team environmentIn addition to this, we are looking for a dynamic operator who can contribute to the success of this practice, and who is seeking to develop their career under the expert guidance of our Litigation Partner.The Commercial Litigation Practice GroupClayton Utz's Litigation and Dispute Resolution lawyers form a top-tier commercial litigation practice, the largest in Australia.
