. We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year up to the end of Term 4, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
As a cleaner you will be responsible for internal cleaning duties, including maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other general cleaning tasks. External cleaning duties include cleaning verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, cobweb removal, and other related duties. During vacation times, you will undertake stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, carpet shampooing, and pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas.
Responsibilities
Perform internal cleaning duties (carpets, floors, toilets, furniture, fittings, dusting, rubbish removal, window cleaning).
Perform external cleaning duties (verandas, covered areas, troughs, cobweb removal).
During vacations, strip/seal vinyl floors, shampoo carpets, and pressure clean external areas.
Maintain high standards of cleaning, safety and attention to detail.
Requirements and Qualities
Good attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team.
Organised, honest, reliable and punctual.
Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices.
Eligibility
obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
