**Barista/All Rounder JOB AD**

**About Role**

Our business is looking for a Barista/ All Rounder to make and serve beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages. You will be responsible for taking customer orders and payments. Additionally, the individual for this role will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing their work areas, seating areas and equipment/tools. You will need excellent communication skills, a passion for exceeding customer expectations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties & Responsibilities of the role**

Greeting customers as they enter
Providing customers with menus and answering their questions regarding ingredients
Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
Serve all food from the display fridge using correct tools and presentation techniques
Should be friendly, approachable and have a pleasant customer attitude
Operate cash register/ POS and EFTPOS
Support washing up of dishes and utensils
Clean coffee machine, milk jugs, smoothie equipment
Ensure adequate levels of stock levels for cups, coffee, tea, milk etc. and liaise with manager for ordering
Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
Assist in end of day cleaning
Perform ad-hoc tasks on a need basis

**Requirements for the role**

High school diploma or GED
Proven experience assisting in kitchens

Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Excellent verbal communication skills
Time management and organisational skills
Sound knowledge of sanitation regulations

**About Pay**
Pay is based off hourly rate i.e. $20-$22 per hour.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Tuggerah, NSW 2259 (preferred)
