About the role As our next Train Load Operator to proudly represent our Production Team, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available.

Located in theShire of Yilgarn, on a 14/7 FIFO roster, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.Yilgarn Iron Ore Project includes the sites of Koolyanobbing,Windarling and Parker Range.
The Yilgarn region has a long history of iron ore mining and is located in the Shires or Yilgarn and Menzies with ore being railed to Esperance Port for export.
The productive mining areas are located on the land of the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Group.
In this role, you will have: Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum outputComplying with Thiess' policies and proceduresResponding to instructions from Mining SupervisorEnsuring floor levels are maintainedMinimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerancesMaintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient mannerOperate, drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roadsSetting and maintain high housekeeping standardsCarrying out pre-start checks About you To be considered for these opportunities you are required to have:Minimum 3-5 years experience operating a CAT 992 Loader in a production mining operation including loading at the ROMPossess strong miningoperationalskills and be able to demonstrate your ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environmentSound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configurationProven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times What Thiess can do for you Permanent full-time positionsFull camp facilities providedThiess' commitment to training & developmentSalary sacrifice options - Flights & novated leasingRange of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
