We now continue to thrive and grow through iconic businesses including Story Bridge Adventure Climb and the Manly Wharf Precinct in Sydney.
As the Assistant Banquets Manager you'll play a key role in supporting the seamless delivery of events across our venues.
Working closely with the Events Director of Operations, you'll assist with the set up, bump ins and bump outs, manage staff, and ensure all event runs smoothly.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving on the go, and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities include: Support day-to-day operational requirements across multiple event spaces.
Coordinate event logistics including staffing, equipment, suppliers, and venue set-ups and pack downs.
Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
Oversee event set-up, pack-down, and on-the-day operations to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
Monitor compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements during events.
Manage rostering and support in supervising casual and event staff during operations.
Maintain accurate event documentation, reports, post-event evaluations and stocktakes.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, guest experience, and operational processes.
