Skipper - Mareeba

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Master V Skipper to join Australia's leading Aquaculture company and join our Marine Services and Logistics crew. The main tasks of this position involve a wide variety of physical tasks on the water, including rigging checks, monitoring of fish behaviour, operating Tassal vessels and maintenance on feed equipment and pens. In addition, you will be leading the team of dedicated farmers.

In this position you will work on 7 days on, 7 days off roster working 11.4 hour shifts. This position is based out of our Haywards site in Margate and works out of all our beautiful locations in the Southeast of the state.

**About you**
- Hold a Master V ticket & MED II (must have)
- Experienced in fish farming operations or commercial fishing
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills and the ability to lead a team
- A strong commitment to safety at all times
