Production Supervisor

Seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join a leading manufacturer supplying cabinetry to the building industry in and around Brisbane for over 20 years.

You will be joining the team during a period of great growth as they continue to deliver on their promise of providing a great product range using reputable suppliers and overdelivering on their service and quality craftsmanship.

The successful applicant will have a passion for the building industry and will understand the requirements associated with a fast-paced industry. You will be responsible for managing a team of Cabinet Makers and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget, whilst maintaining the smooth operation of the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the sales & estimating team to ensure install dates are met
- Cross-referencing and checking specification plans
- Managing orders, customer relations, and builders
- Job scheduling and coordination
- follow up with suppliers & trade contractors as required to minimise delays
- Managing installers and allocating jobs
- Keeping track of KPI's and updating them via internal computer systems (Microsoft Office)

Key Requirements:

- Previous experience working/managing a team in a cabinetry environment
- Trade Qualified Cabinetmaker or relevant industry experience
- Natural ability to follow up and motivate a team
- Experience operating machinery (Anderson CNC and Edgebanders)
- Excellent Project Management experience and ability to work on multiple projects
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- A commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Ability to lead by example and adapt quickly
- Any High-Risk tickets including Forklift will be highly regarded
