**Description**:
**The Role**:
Cater Care is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our esteemed aged care residences in Ballina, NSW. This location offers a vibrant coastal lifestyle, featuring stunning beaches, and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities.
There are no late nights or double shifts required, with the added flexibility to pick up extra shifts when available.
**Roster**: Various days and hours
**Morning Shifts**: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Afternoon Shifts 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
**What This Role Involves**:
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
