About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network and Telecommunications Engineer to join our Digital Team, responsible for maintaining secure, high-performance networks, telephony, and applications while driving upgrade projects across our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver rapid incident resolution and high-level technical support for complex network, telephony, and enterprise application environments operating 24/7.
Implement robust maintenance protocols, including regular backups, patching, upgrades, and daily health assessments, to uphold system stability and data integrity.
Architect and deploy scalable, secure network infrastructures that align with evolving business needs and enhance overall system resilience.
Oversee the administration and optimization of core network systems, using proactive troubleshooting and system evaluations to minimize downtime and improve performance.
Technical Expertise:
Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies (CUCM, UCCX, CUBE) and telephony integration platforms (cloud-based telephony platforms, MS Teams).
Proficient in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and site-to-site VPN setups.
Thorough understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), IP addressing, and subnetting strategies.
Skilled in system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performing critical health checks under high-pressure environments.
Familiarity with SQL/T-SQL, Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware, DHCP, and DNS administration.
