We are a newly opened Cafe in Ipswich focusing on providing outstanding customer service, excellent coffee and delicious food. We are currently looking for a reliable, energetic and conscientious junior all-rounder that enjoys being part of a team.

**Requirements**:

- Previous involvement in some food and beverage preparation is essential
- 1 + years barista experience is essential
- Good at cash handling and multi-tasking
- Have a positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills
- Professional and reliable with excellent time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instruction
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Must have availability between 6am and 6pm Monday - Friday
- Must have weekend availability between 6am and 2pm
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, food safety and hygiene.
- The QLD Government has made it a requirement for all hospitality workers to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing exceptional customer service
- Preparing coffee, beverages, and food
- Taking orders and handling cash/ EFTPOS
- Clearing tables and doing dishes
- Cleaning and maintain service areas to food safety standards
- Ensuring the café is kept clean and tidy
- Working within a team environment

Casual Work approx. 15-25 hours a week

Hours will be varied across Monday - Friday 6am until 6pm and weekends 7am until 2pm. It is essential that applicants are available to work weekends.

**Salary**: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
