**About the Company**

Davidson Technology are currently supporting a Queensland State Government Department to secure an experienced Sharepoint Content Writer to support their migration to Cloud project on a 12-month contract.

**About the Role**

As the Sharepoint Content Writer, you will play a pivotal role in migrating content from the departments current intranet/SharePoint to a new platform, ensuring alignment with the new style, tone, and accuracy standards. You will collaborate with Content Owners to review, edit, and adapt existing content, coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate content creation. Additionally, you will provide input for the migration plan and Teamsite migration dates, control the old-to-new mapping based on the new architecture design, and guide business stakeholders through content clean-up tasks to meet agreed-upon schedules, ensuring a smooth transition to the new SharePoint Online platform while maintaining document integrity and accuracy.

**About You**

To be successful, you will possess over 5 years of experience in similar roles, demonstrating expertise in SharePoint content management systems and web writing/editing within large and complex organizations, particularly on intranets, SharePoint, and MS Teams. You'll excel in content migration from legacy systems to modern platforms, collaborating with content owners to create new pages aligned with future state intranet and SharePoint standards, emphasising plain English and accessibility. With a keen eye for detail, you will navigate fast-paced environments independently and collaboratively, maintaining excellent communication skills across all organisational levels. You'll be skilled in developing intranet content to meet editorial and brand standards, understanding information architectures, leading content migration projects in agile frameworks, and supporting training initiatives for content authors on modern platforms. You'll also adeptly manage and lead user acceptance testing, ensuring seamless transitions across websites and intranets.
