We are urgently seeking forklift drivers/packers to assist in packing aluminum sections for door and window fabrication and also assist with checking and reporting on quality assurance and maintaining quality systems.

Duties will include packing long lengths of aluminum ready for dispatch. This includes loading, unloading and moving product, keeping work area clean and tidy and ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures.

- This role will start as temporary labour hire (but permanent opportunities may present in the future).
- We roster both day (5:00am - 3:00pm) and night (3:00pm - 1:00am) shifts across seven days (availability is needed to work on both day and night shifts to meet business needs).
- Casual hourly rate on day shift is $31.63, night shift is $34.50 (with forklift ticket) PLUS OVERTIME.

To be considered for this work, you will need:

- Previous labouring experience (ideally in a factory environment) with two contactable work references
- Forklift licence an advantage but there are positions required without them
- Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance
- Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely
- Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided)
- Appropriate work wear including steelcap boots, long pants yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts
- Availability to commence asap at Loganlea

**Job Types**: Temp to perm, Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $34.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

- Loganlea QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- factory labouring: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
