**Procurement Panel Manager**

Procurement Panel Manager required by a NSW Government department on an initial 12-month contract with potential extensions.

**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
This role will manage the contractual operational and performance of suppliers with a view to maximise value and minimise risk for the organisation.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Develop statements of work with stakeholders ensuring requirements are met, contractual obligations are in line with overarching agreements, value for money and adherence to procurement frameworks and policies
- Work with the Purchasing hub team to assist the business for sourcing
- Audit and monitor the panel management plan for compliance
- Lead and plan performance meetings with suppliers ensuring stakeholder collaboration/attendance, minute taking and coordination of delivering outcomes
- Recommend improvements to process with the view of reducing the total cost of ownership for the organisation

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent level of operational experience
- Technical ability with Ariba, SAP S4/Hana, Jira and Sharepoint is desired
- Demonstrated panel management, problem solving & stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience developing detailed Contract Management plans for projects that include deliverables
- Commercial negotiation skills - able to communicate, understand, interpret and value offers and proposals to arrive at a commercially and legally sound outcome for the organisation whilst maintaining professional relationships
