- **Rostered hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm**

**About the role**
The Occasional Care Team Leader will coordinate the operation of Carnegie Occasional Care and GESAC Occasional Care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, responsive services for children. The role will provide direct care, while managing administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and Council policies.
- Other responsibilities include:_
- Ensure centre operation is customer focused and meets regulatory compliance
- Organise staff rosters, ensuring that appropriate regulations are met
- Create programs suited to the needs of children and families
- Complete administrative tasks associated with the delivery of the education and care program

**About you**
You are a compassionate and organised leader with a strong understanding of child care principles, capable of providing high-quality, responsive services for children. With a balance of hands-on care and administrative expertise, you ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a safe and supportive environment for both children and team members.

The following is also required:

- Qualifications according to Children's Services Regulations 2020 (Vic)
- Recent substantial experience working as a team member in a leadership role in an early years' service
- Successful assessment as Primary Nominee with the Department of Education prior to or within the first months of employment
