**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Buyer to join the team at Smeaton Grange.

**Role responsibilities**
- Review, assess and acquire appropriate vehicle dismantle inventory from Auction to satisfy the dismantle pipeline
- Provide transparency of purchasing by undertaking a Bid Buddy valuation for every vehicle purchase
- Optimise part selection based on information to hand at point of valuation
- Achieve gross margin targets through targeted vehicles and parts selection
- Maintain and provide supporting documentation as required to ensure timely capture and processing of acquired vehicles into ACM Parts' system/s
- Prepare daily / weekly reports and perform other ad hoc duties as requested
- Willingness to own & demonstrate ACM Parts' values of Trust, Passion, Safety & Innovation
- Contribute to the buying, production and sales team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
- Identify, suggest and implement improvements to the workplace.

**Does this sound like you?**
- Professional experience in automotive industry, mechanical & collision preferred
- Sound knowledge of all makes and models and of the automotive repair industry
- Comprehensive understanding of Pinnacle and Bid Buddy
- Ability to identify parts correctly using VIN decoders and parts catalogues
- Able to work safely and efficiently both in a team environment and independently
- Ability to follow process and business rules
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Computer literacy to include competency in Microsoft Excel & Outlook
