We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our independently owned and operated practice in Clayfield, QLD.

We want to hear from YOU if you possess the following:

- Demonstrated experience in the Dental industry
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting highly desirable
- Experience in infection control measures in the dental setting
- Demonstrated Sterilisation experience
- Current first aid & CPR highly desirable
- All vaccinnations current and up to date as per Queensland Government regulations
- Experience using Dental software such as Exact, Oasis or similar system, Medicare, Hicaps or billing services
- Computer/Technically sound skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A Problem solver with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Kind and caring nature
- Excellent communicator with a positive attitude to provide the best service in town.

Chairside Dental Assisting will be the primary responsibility of the role however we are looking for an experienced professional who is able to confidently navigate Reception and sterilization duties.

You will report to the business owner and the key responsibilities are (but not limited to):

- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and helpful manner, so that they feel comfortable and welcome
- Schedule appointments for patients
- Process payments
- Take patient photographs, digital scans & impressions
- Provide attentive patient care and assurance
- Clean & Sterilize surgical instruments in line with Practice guidelines
- Update patient information
- General administrative duties
