Position:Boilermaker
Location:Kalgoorlie, WA - Workshop
Roster:2:1 - Days Only
Hourly Rate:Up to $73.75 - Depending on casual or full-time employment
Employment type:Casual or Full Time
About the role:
In this role, you will repair or replace mechanical components, fabricate parts by cutting, shaping, and welding metal, and assemble structures through welding or riveting.
You'll also finish products with cleaning, polishing, or protective coatings, and handle bucket/tray refurbishments and full machine rebuilds, including crack testing and repairs.
What we are looking for:
Demonstrable experience working on mobile equipment maintenance
Previous experience working on a mine site or in the mining industry as a Boilermaker
Experience with tray reline and buckets rebuilds and the ability to work with different techniques such as flux core, arc, oxy, mig, tig and gouging
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Fabrication Trade
Valid C Class driver's licence
At minimum, 2 years post trade qualification / apprenticeship in the mining industry
