Sales Manager-National Convention Centre

We're always looking for new ways to raise the bar.
So we're searching for a Sales Manager with a track record of driving sales and smashing targets to help us fill our event spaces.
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:Proactively securing new business from corporate, association, government, and entertainment markets.Managing and converting repeat events to ensure ongoing client loyalty.Applying strategic yield management to maximise profitability.Building strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and IHG sales teams to generate leads.Showcasing the NCCC through site inspections, familiarisations, and client entertainment.Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to keep our venue one step ahead.Representing NCCC at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions — both locally and interstate.You'll thrive in this role if you have:Proven experience in sales or business development — ideally in convention sales, large events, or hospitality.A track record of achieving (and exceeding) revenue targets.Strong networking and relationship-building skills.CRM experience and an understanding of yield and revenue management principles.Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.The flexibility to work outside standard business hours when events require it.
