We have an exciting opportunity for 2 dynamic Pet Handlers / Drivers to join our team in **Sydney****:

- Matraville **on a **Full-Time basis **and a **Casual basis.**

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

Our company culture is based on Happy Pets, Happy Customers, Happy People that ties into our values of Integrity, Trust, Respect, Teamwork and Leadership. This role **Pet Handler / Driver **must be able to demonstrate behaviors that align with a culture reflecting these values.

The successful applicant will be responsible for **pet handling, driving **and **crate building**.

**Skills and experience**

In order to be successful, you will need to possess the following key selection criteria:

- A love of animals and **professional **animal handling experience is essential
- A professional customer service-orientated approach to work
- A full drivers licence and safe driving record - probationary drivers will not be considered
- Confidence or experience driving long hauls (where required)
- Ability to work autonomously when required
- A strong and professional work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Additionally, you will have an energetic and positive nature and enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team
- Capable to look after the animals within our care with some lifting involved

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Matraville, NSW 2036: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Professional Animal handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
