**Position Information**:
Normanhurst Boys High School with an enrolment 750 students is an academically selective high school with approximately 85% of students from a language background other than English. There are three classes in the autism support unit. The school has an exceptional wellbeing program that enables students to be known valued and cared for. **Selection Criteria**:
Approval and demonstrated ability to teach Music Stages 4 to 6 including Music Extension.

Ability and commitment to direct, manage and showcase musical ensembles including concert band, orchestra and choir.

Knowledge of curriculum and assessment with capacity to develop and implement innovative and differentiated teaching and learning music programs that cater for the learning needs of high potential and gifted students.

Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with teams to effectively contribute to whole school programs to support talent development.
