You will manage drafting on large projects autonomously and lead junior drafters within the project team.Manage small and large projects autonomously where no Lead Engineer is allocatedLiaise with engineers and architects on the preparation and coordination of documentation.Competently convey structural information into drawing format which can be interpreted by builders.Assist Lead Engineer in the preparation of preliminary sketch designs from architectural drawings as required.Provide training and assistance to junior drafters including technical support of Civil 3D and other software.Actively input ideas to the progressive improvement of the drafting systemsCommunicate relevant project information as appropriate to the project leaders/project team.About you:This role is ideally suited to someone with:Relevant TAFE qualification or equivalentAt least 8-10 years in a similar roleTeam player that works seamlessly with all levels of staffStrong understanding of Austroads, BCA and relevant Australian StandardsAbility to co-ordinate existing & proposed utilitiesAbility to interrogate information & data prior to commencing drafting with a keen eye for design parameters.Proficient in the use of Civil 3D for drafting major projects utilising a National Systemised framework for all aspects of the drawing set.Experience in delivering large civil projects and leading a project documentation team.Highly desirable in documentation of roads, drainage and civil infrastructure utilising digital framework.Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.Problem solving/analytical skills with a great attention to detailWhy TTW?
