**Description**:
Regulatory Affairs Business Partner
**Location**: Adelaide
**Employment type**: Permanent Full Time
**Salary**: $105,000 plus 11.5% superannuation and salary packaging
About the role
As Regulatory Affairs Business Partner, you will manage national community housing regulatory submissions and support HCA's compliance with contractual and legislative obligations. You'll partner across functions to deliver sound, timely advice and help maintain a proactive, risk-aware culture.
This role is ideal for a compliance professional who understands regulatory frameworks and thrives in a values-led organisation where outcomes matter.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Plan, manage, and submit timely community housing regulation submissions
Monitor and interpret changes to regulatory frameworks
Partner across departments to implement regulatory strategies
Build tools, templates and systems to support compliance and training
Maintain strong relationships with regulators, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders
About the team
The General Counsel & CoSec group ensures robust governance, compliance, and legal management, underpinning Housing Choices Australia's commitment to integrity and accountability. The team proactively manages risk, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance to sustain operational excellence and ethical standards. This function is integral to maintaining trust with stakeholders and ensuring that the organisation's strategic and operational decisions align with legal obligations and best practices.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About you
**You will have**:
Knowledge of community housing regulations (e.g. NRSCH, VIC Housing Act, WA CHRO)
Demonstrated experience managing compliance and regulatory submissions
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to lead compliance projects, develop frameworks and meet deadlines
Tertiary qualifications in business, strategy, community housing or compliance (or equivalent experience)
Certification in Compliance/Quality Management highly regarded
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
