One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced **Deputy Chief Financial Officer** to join a talented operations team. You will be responsible for the department's budget arrangements and business services, and the delivery of associated activities and outcomes. The successful **Deputy Chief Financial Officer** will be offered a **12 month contract and receive a rewarding hourly rate.**

The successful** Deputy Chief Financial Officer** will be responsible for the below:

- Engagement and collaboration with a range of senior management and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation of system changes and other business improvement activities.
- Leading the preparation and dissemination of internal budgets, forecasting and costing activities.
- Leading a small team by providing strategic direction, leadership, guidance, and coaching.

The successful** Deputy Chief Financial Officer** will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated strategic thinking to support shared purpose and direction.
- Proven ability to prepare budgets, statements, forecasts and costing activities.
