You're a defining part of our brand.About the role...As the Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible with working alongside the Store Manager to drive sales and achieve KPI results, build and train your team to deliver an excellent, fun customer-driven culture within store.Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure day-to-day operations are running smoothly and efficientlyAbility to review store sales reports and create actions plans with your Store Manager and teamHold yourself and each individual accountable for their own results through constant feedbackWork closely with the Store Manager to create a store roster according to daily traffic, peak periods and optimise the team resources.Supports efficient inventory management including stocktakes & cycle counts.Support the implementation of visual merchandising standards within store and assist with in-store activations.Work closely with the Store Manager to mentor and coach the store team to allow them to grow, celebrating their strengths and building awareness and steps to address their gaps; through honesty, generosity, and true empowerment to give things a go themselves About you...At least 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience in a retail environment.You will have a genuine love and understanding for fashion and our brandsThe ability to confidently lead, motivate and engage a team environmentProven experience and success in coaching and developing teams and individualsA proven track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgetsSound knowledge and proven success in retail ops including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, shrinkage etcMust have full Australian working rightsThe Perks...Discounts & Perks – Enjoy generous discounts across all Alquemie Group & General PantsWellbeing – We invest in your mental health and wellbeing through training, EAP etc.Parental Leave Policy – For both permanent & casual employees and primary & secondary carerCareer Development & Training – Opportunities be a part of our training workshops Bonus & Perks – Enjoy performance incentives & endless recognition for all your hard workIf you are looking for your next challenge, have the relevant experience and are excited about this opportunity - we want to hear from you.
