Your part in our Lifeline team

We are currently recruiting for the position of Sorter in our Geebung Distribution Center.- This position requires the staff member to be available for a
- 7:00 - 3:30 Monday
- 6:45 - 3:30 Tues, Wed, Thurs
- 6:45 - 12:00 Fri- Sort and categorize the large volumes of clothing and Bric a Brac generously donated.- Picking and processing orders.- Working In a warehouse environment that can get very dusty plus very cold in winter and very hot in summer.- Maintain work stations and storage areas in a clean and tidy manner, in accordance with workplace health and safety regulations, including moving stock and rubbish to allocated areas.- Ensure all paperwork relative to your role is recorded accurately and on a daily basis.- Work harmoniously with volunteers and other employees to promote a positive team environment.- Be reliable and able to work within a fast-paced environment while meeting required targets and demonstrate a commitment to participate in training, follow directions and have the ability to work in a team under limited supervision.- Responsible for the quality of their own work.- May have to lift up to 20kg if required- Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all matters relating to staff, customers, procedures and security.-
- This role involves repetitive tasks such as lifting, carrying, standing and walking for long periods, due to the physical nature of the role it is an inherent requirement that all applicants be able and willing to do all of the above tasks with no restriction.
