Key responsibilities
Processing General Ledger journals including accruals, prepayments, and end-of-month entries
General processing and reviews of bank transactions
Reconciling bank statements, accounts, and balance sheet
Managing month-end close for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Fixed Assets, and Bank Accounts
Preparing and reviewing financial reports
Processing invoices, payments, and obligations to suppliers, subcontractors, and third parties
Reviewing payroll reports and adjustments
Monitoring working capital balances and cash flow
Collaborating with the Finance Team to support clients and internal operations
Perform any other duties or tasks relevant to the role
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance (or working towards one).
Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting roles with demonstrated use of accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate & timely financial outcomes
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with strong organisational and time management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
A proactive and fast-learning mindset with ambition to grow within the accounting and finance profession
