**The Role of an Assistant Purchasing Manager |**
You will need strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with our team members and suppliers. The role requires solid negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for LaManna. A strong understanding and experience with Perishables is advantageous to the role.
- Assist with the sourcing of new & innovative products
- Assist with promotional planning to drive category growth
- The ability to recognise future trends.
- Building strong relationships with supplier partners
- Compliance with business expectations
- Manage invoices & payments, and ensure all purchase orders are accurate.
- Bulk purchasing & consolidation
- Strong analytical & planning skills with an ability to forward plan
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Understanding of computer-based systems and purchase order software platforms.
- Have great problem-solving skills and be able to think outside the box
- Keep a clean and organised workspace whilst adhering to our OHS and Food Safety guidelines
