**About the business and the role**
**SMS Mining Services is a privately owned, West Australian based Mining Contractor. Founded in 2000, SMS has progressed from being solely Equipment Rental to now having extensive involvement in the Maintenance, Contract Mining and Drill and Blast Divisions.**At SMS we pride ourselves on our positive work culture and ability to deliver desired results. We are looking for people who are honest hard workers and care about the people they work with, ensuring each employee has the right skill set and attitude to match ours to maintain and enhance our reputation as a leader in the mining industry.**

An opportunity currently exists for a proactive and organised Site Administrator preferably with a surface mining background to support our team in the mid-west. You will be working on a 8 days on / 6 days off roster. FIFO from Perth only.

**Duties include**:

- General site administrative duties
- Maintenance of Site Plant Registers
- Daily Reporting/Fuel Reporting
- Assisting with quarterly QRM
- Assisting Head Office with Payroll and HR matters
- Data processing
- Time sheet entries
- Handling Incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Assisting with Procurement tasks including Purchase Orders and Job Cost coding
- Roster Management
- Manage employee and contractor site Mobilisation
- Coordination of accommodation and flights

**Skills and experience**:

- 2+ years' experience as a Site Administrator within surface mining
- Highly organised and attention to detail
- Pleasant and friendly demeanor
- Experience working in small, high-performance teams
- Accurate data entry skills
- Priority Management skills
- AMT Software experience (highly regarded)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
