Senior Project Accountant

Their finance team plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making across complex operations.Job DescriptionOversee daily finance and accounting for major capital projects and studiesEnsure project accounting tasks meet SLAs and quality standardsRaise purchase requisitions and process invoices in ERPCoordinate vendor recoveries with project teamsMonitor supplier payments and contribute to group performance targetsPerform monthly close activities including journals and accrualsCreate and maintain project WBS structures in ERPManage project cost closeouts and resolve open commitmentsPrepare monthly reports, variance analysis, and reconciliation between systemsCollaborate with stakeholders across project, site, audit, and compliance teamsSupport issue resolution and process improvementLearn and apply standard processes and controls for capital projectsThe Successful ApplicantA successful Project Accountant should have:A degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience in Project or Cost AccountingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
