Software Engineering Manager Role
About the Job
The Software Engineering Manager is a key leadership position responsible for guiding a distributed team of software engineers in delivering and maintaining Linux kernels provided by the Ubuntu distribution. This role requires extensive programming experience in C, with Python, Golang, or other similar languages being highly regarded.
This position demands significant technical expertise in operating system kernel internals and concepts, with Linux experience being beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a distributed team of software engineers to ensure successful delivery and ongoing support of Linux kernels.
Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, growth, and satisfaction.
Mentor and develop strong engineers, promoting their career advancement.

Requirements
