Candidates should be able to work AM and PM shifts.About Your RoleAs a Personal Care Worker, you will work under the guidance of our Registered Nurses, assisting our residents with their daily living activities to enhance their well-being and ensure care delivery is to the highest standard.The Personal Care Worker role is part of an integrated team of professionals who work within an agreed clinical care framework to provide personalised care to our residents.This role is vital in ensuring we maintain high-quality care and high quality of life for our residents at all times.What You Will DoSupport residents in living the life they choose by allowing them to exercise choice and independenceContribute to the overall quality of life of our residents that include the areas of physical, emotional and lifestyle interestsImplement clinical and care interventions delegated by the Registered Nurses, and as documented in the residents' care planAssist residents with their personal care needs while encouraging their independenceAbility to prioritise workloads effectively and deliver care with dignity and compassionProvide care to our residents with respect, kindness and patienceRespect our residents with their dignity, privacy and choiceWhat You Will Bring Experience with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Quality of Care PrinciplesA genuine interest in elderly care and the desire to improve the lives of our residentsCertificate III in Aged Care /Individual SupportEffective communication skillsReliability to work to a roster with set shifts and basic computer skillsWorking knowledge of WH&S and infection control.Previous work experience within the aged care sector is preferred but not essentialProvide NDIS clearance and Rights to WorkCommitment to continuous quality improvementMedication competencyCulture and BenefitsLearning & development.
