**The Opportunity**
- Working as directed by the Supervisor, this customer focussed role is responsible for making a commitment to undertake study alongside full-time employment to gain certification for a Cert III in Electrical Supply Industry - Rail Traction, National Qualification No. UET30712 within the set timeframe.

**Key responsibilities include.**
- Work at heights on rail-connected 1500V overhead wiring, under the general intermittent supervision of an Authorised Overhead Traction Worker, Accredited OHW Rigger, Accredited OHW Installer, or Accredited OHW Worker; and
- Work to the Safe Approach Distances (SADs) specified for "Accredited Persons" in Table 1 of SMS-06-GD-0268 Working around Electrical Equipment when in compliance with clause 5.4.3 of the same document, in relation to DC nominal voltages only.
- Quantify, control, receipt and issue of materials required for the timely completion of projects
- Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches
- Clean and prepare working surfaces and maintain housekeeping for those areas that you are working in
- Work under direction of Linesworker and Senior Linesworker to ensure practical knowledge is gained

- Remain flexible to support and adapt with changing work demands and hours of work including shifts, weekends and away from home
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team.
- Display effective verbal and written communication capability.
- Continue to meet and maintain the physical demands and qualification requirements of the position
- Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Capable of obtaining qualifications to work at heights and in confined spaces.
