This position starts on a **casual basis** with **4-10** hours per week, with potential to grow.

Applicants must have **at least 2 years' experience** in Disability and/or Aged Care and hold majority of the following:

- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR

You are expected to have:

- Reliable Vehicle - Well maintained and clean
- Comprehensive Insurance - if providing Community Access

Your Certification will include and is provided;
- NDIS Orientation Modules 'Orientation and Effective Communication'
- Infection Control
- Medication Management
- Mealtime Management
- Positive Behaviour Management
- Mental health Support (e.g. anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, ASD, Dementia)

**About the role**

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll assist clients in their homes and in the community with:

- Personal care
- Medication monitoring
- Incontinence care
- Domestic Cleaning assistance
- Meal preparation
- Social and community support
- Positive Behaviour Support
- Mental health support

**Shifts available**

We have shifts ranging from **2-8**hours, across mornings, and afternoons. Ideally, your availability will include at least **3 weekends**days per fortnight.
