Starling Services are looking for **_Pathology Collection - Trainer/Supervisor_** in the market who are interested in working with us whether it is for now or in the future.

We are seeking a suitably experienced Pathology Collections Trainer This position is responsible for the planning and delivery of training programs to new and existing collection staff.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Maintaining appropriate records for all induction and training provided
- Perform competency assessments on new and existing staff where applicable and maintain appropriate records
- Provide support and training to the Buddy trainers in the theory of delivering, assessing and evaluating on the job training
- Provide support to the Risk Management/Quality department as required. Produce and maintain relevant policies and procedures in consultation with associated departments
- Identify in-service training needs and arrange or conduct the training as required.
- Ensure all incidents are clearly and appropriately documented and responded to in a proactive and timely manner

**To be successful in this role you must have**:

- **_At least 5 years' Experience working in Pathology Specimen Collections_**:

- **_Excellent pathology collection clinical skills_**:

- **_Excellent Customer Service Skills_**:

- **_Strong administrative and organisational skills_**:

- The ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude that will inspire your staff
- Relevant industry qualification and relevant/current industry experience
- **_Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection,_**:

- **_Experience as a Pathology Collector._**
- **_Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or_**:

- **_Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units._**:

- Previous experience in a teaching or training role preferred
- Current drivers license and car

**_ WWCC:_**_ Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check._**
**_Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check._**
