**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The main objective of this exciting role is to support the delivery of a series of power system builds for a variety of projects across Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced switchboard builder with mechanical aptitude to join our growing team based in Ingleburn, Sydney.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Build a range of low voltage and extra low voltage switchboards and DC rack mounted power systems from general arrangement and schematic drawings.
- Read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Form a vital part of Ampcontrol's engineering team to assist with electrical design updates, drawing changes and associated documentation requirements
- Work with the production team to achieve quality, delivery and budget targets.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Previous experience in switchboard and power system manufacturing or installation
- Self-motivated, strong communication, and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in resolving problems - technical, quality and schedule.
- Experience working within critical infrastructure environments
- A current driver's license.
- Strong negotiation skills.
