We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our caring team at our Emerald Avalon site and support our residents in living their best lives.About the RoleAs a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital part in our residents' daily lives assisting with personal care, encouraging independence, and ensuring each individual feels safe, respected, and valued.
Working under the guidance of our experienced clinical team, your compassion and attention to detail will shine through in every task you do.What You'll DoProvide daily personal care with dignity and empathySupport residents with meals, hygiene, and mobilityAccurately record observations and report changes in residents' healthCommunicate effectively with nursing staff and care teamsAssist with lifestyle activities and general duties around the facilityPromote safety, wellbeing, and a clean environmentWhat You'll NeedCertificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in residential aged carePassion for working with older people and people with disabilitiesWhy Join Us?
