As the product scales in complexity, the team is building out its design function with a strong emphasis on quality, usability, and system thinking.
The company has had strong year on year growth, has received funding and is looking to expand significantly.
The current state of the design team is x2 mid levels, you'll be joining help elevate design standards.
About the Role This role sits at the intersection of scheduling, bookings, and patient data—some of the most critical and frequently used parts of the platform.
The designer will lead UX and UI execution within the team, as well as mentor others and contribute to the broader design function.
Expect to work through ambiguous problems, shape user journeys from scratch, and contribute to the evolution of the design system.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design efforts across scheduling, bookings, and data workflowsShape design strategy and influence roadmap conversations from a user perspectiveDeliver high-quality designs—from low-fi concepts to polished interfacesRun usability testing and research to validate decisionsCollaborate closely with PMs and engineers to ensure smooth handover and deliveryProvide mentorship to mid-level designers and contribute to a growing design cultureWhat You'll BringProduct design experience, with time spent on complex platforms or workflowsExperience working in a strong product companyA strong portfolio demonstrating UX depth, attention to detail, and a systems mindsetExperience leading end-to-end design within a product teamAbility to balance design craft with pragmatic trade-offs in a scaling environmentMentorship or leadership experience (formal or informal)This is a unique opportunity for a senior or principal designer who wants to lead by example, solve deeply practical problems, and shape a core part of a product that professionals rely on daily.
