How we do it, and the people that we do it with, matters a great deal.About the RoleReporting to the Manager on Duty or On Site Donation Captain at our Ringwoodstore, you will be responsible for accepting donations (treasures) on behalf of our not-for-profit partners.
You will wow our donors with your gratitude, helping them understand how their donation makes a difference and educating them on the wonderful work of our not-for-profit partners.
A typical day might include:Greeting donors, thanking them for their donationHandling all donations with care and respectEducating donors and customers on the work of our not-for-profit partnersProudly embracing our purpose to Champion ReuseSharing the Savers storyWorking with your team to make sure you all meet daily production targetsSupporting our safety cultureAbout YouTo ensure you can hit the ground running, you will have a mix of the following:Availability for part-time hours - Monday to Sunday between 9am - 9pmA team player - you love working in a team, and enjoy helping others to meet team goalsExperience working in a fast-paced environment - you might have worked in retail, production, warehousing or hospitalityCelebrate uniqueness - we are made up of people from many different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, all with something special to contributeImpact driven - you want to make an impact on your team and your communityCustomer focused - we make service count, so you will need to be passionate about providing an exceptional experience at every interaction with our valued customers and donorsEager to learn - you are always looking to find a better way, adapt and improveDo the right thing - you are passionate about standing up for what's right and doing what you say you willWe are a team of thrifters, always searching for the unique and one-of-a-kinds.
