We have a fantastic opportunity for a marketing leader to join Zoetis. This role as Associate Director, Marketing will lead the marketing function in the dynamic Companion Animal business unit, which delivers healthcare solutions for dogs, cats, and horses.

Dealing predominantly with small animals, this role will identify, plan and execute strategies that will bring Zoetis closer to our customers and in doing so help them deliver best medicine to the animals under their care. This role works across multiple therapeutic areas and channels including Veterinary Pharmaceutical and Pet Specialty Retail.

Reporting to the Business Unit Director, this role forms part of the Companion Animal Leadership Team.

The role:

- Lead the Companion Animal Marketing team to deliver results across sales and market share targets
- Manage resources to deliver results and the broader strategic imperatives of the business unit
- Develop the marketing strategy in conjunction with the Business Unit Director
- Shape the local marketing direction based on global marketing strategies and priorities
- Develop and foster collaborative and productive cross
- functional partnerships
- Contribute to projects which move the business forward such as product and business development projects
- Core responsibilities include: Strategy and planning, marketing campaigns and demand creation, people management and influence, and financial management and compliance

Selection criteria:

- Prior experience leading and cultivating a high performing marketing team
- Proven ability to conduct data analysis and turn data-driven insights into action
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities within a matrix environment
- Experience with B2B loyalty and e-commerce programs to unlock opportunities and enhance customer experience
- Exceptional presentation skills to effectively engage groups, work cross functionally and influence others
- Detail oriented product management experience to oversee forecasting, supply, demand and sales projections in order to feed into the broader strategic plan
- Prior experience managing expenditure budgets, including providing accurate projections
- Experience managing significant ATL media investments
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business preferred
