As a result, we are looking for experienced Casual Picking and Packing to join our production team based at our facility in Banyo. They will manage day-to-day tasks and ensure the smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. Casual Food Process Workers Monday to Thursday - guaranteed 5 hours per shift each day ongoing long-term work
**Shift times**:
Monday to Thursday start time 5am (shifts are guarantee 5 hours but to be available to work up to 10 hours per day until 3.30pm)
Weekly roster - work every week, no more 'on call' arrangements
Banyo location with secure parking & excellent facilities
What does our PRODUCTION TEAM do?
Picking and packing - fast-paced, physical role, you must be OK to work in a chiller environment, lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs
Assembly - involves working on a line with repetitive actions and moving parts, running of food to different areas, lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs
**To be successful in this role, you will**:
Have experience picking and packing and cleaning (but not essential)
Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
Able to work in a cold environment set to 4 degrees, possibility of freezer work
The ability to work within strict quality standards guidelines
Have a great eye for detail
Be an excellent team member with an energetic and flexible approach
Be reliable and punctual
Be physically fit and capable of working in a cold environment

How to Apply
Successful applicants will be team players who take pride in producing outstanding products and have excellent hand eye co-ordination. Some heavy lifting and work in a cold environment will be required. Whilst not essential previous experience in a FMCG environment working as a process worker would be advantageous.
