We welcome participants with NDIS self-management and plan management, as well as Medicare and private patients.

Position:
Accredited Mental Health based Social Worker

As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will be working with a wide variety of clients and you will play a vital role in providing exceptional therapeutic support to participants with various presentations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Health challenges, and Trauma.

We are happy for this role to be tailored for your needs, whether is this fulltime, parttime or casual hours.

**Responsibilities**:
Assessing the safety and risk of children and young people in complex and challenging situations.

Undertake assessment, investigation and family work to assist in the identification and development of solutions to address safety and risk concerns for children and young people.

Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.

Utilise discipline related knowledge to undertake casework and provide advice and solutions to clients under supervision, referring more complex, high risk or sensitive matters to senior team members.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals, to provide cohesive and integrated care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards

Qualifications and Skills:
**Completion of a degree in Social work**, or related field

**Current license as a Social Worker through AASW**

Background in trauma will be highly regarded

Have a current Working with Children Check (or prepared to obtain)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.
