Who you are
You are passionate about working in the supply chain and understand how process execution links to providing a seamless experience for all including our customer. You are confident in working with large volumes of data, with great attention to detail and understand the importance of following process and meeting deadlines You have high organisational skills, the ability to work in a structured way and you complete the work according to procedures and to quality standards in timely manner. Demonstrating good communication skills you are able to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, as well share knowledge and influence others. A strong working knowledge of excel and previous experience working with Warehouse Management Systems is essential. This role requires you to be available to work from 6am to 2pm as well as Saturdays, occasionally you may be required to work a Sunday shift.
**Your responsibilities**
- Execute inbound and outbound planning into and out of the Distribution Centre (DC) ensuring completion in good time and enables the most efficient operations possible.
- Secure Standard Operating Procedures compliant and efficient warehouse layout within Distribution Centre & Customer Distribution Centre by implementing daily range and mapping strategy.
- Contribute to the development of Distribution Centre operations though close co-operation with the warehouse operations team.
- Manage daily internal flows and resources in good time and ensure operational goals to be met
- Manage systematically the commencement and finalisation of in and outbound shipments/trips
- Maintain compliance with chain of responsibility procedures.
- Manage problem customer orders in good time and in the defined manner
- Timely and accurately report on performance and operational/storage demands

At IKEA's Distribution Services we're proud to be supporting IKEA's continued growth and success in the Australian Market. To support this you ensure internal flows and resources are managed in good time using the WMS to control and monitor flows and operations activities. You'll be responsible for planning and scheduling all inbound and outbound flow within the DC/CDC to ensure that availability goals are always met.
This role is permanent full time, 76 hours per/fortnight.
