Job Overview
Blackbaud is seeking a skilled DevOps Software Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Software Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, supporting, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement cloud infrastructure that supports Blackbaud's hosted applications and services
Build automation leveraging CI/CD processes, automated testing, unit testing, code coverage, and other software development best practices
Optimize platform performance through analyzing server performance analysis and diagnostic logs
Implement cloud security measures and controls in alignment with industry standard best practice and compliance requirements
Regularly assess and remediate vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud infrastructure using automation
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
2+ years of experience in platform engineering with a focus on cloud solutions (Azure & AWS)
A strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices
The ability to work flexible hours as required by business priorities; available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events
