**You will join our Environment and Health Business Unit**
As our new Senior Consultant, you will have expertise in chemical regulations in Australia and New Zealand, either in the area of industrial chemicals, consumer products, biocides or agrochemicals. Your scope of work might also cover other Asia Pacific countries. You will bring the ability to organize, coordinate and communicate across an interdisciplinary team, engaging with other business and technical professionals, externally with clients and regulatory agencies. You will support from a regulatory and technical perspective the preparation of regulatory submissions for a variety of chemical related products including industrial chemicals, consumer products and agrochemicals. A strong customer service ethic and ability to multitask is vital for this role. You will present a positive "can-do" attitude and be a self-starter within a team of dedicated professionals. Reporting to the Principal, Health Sciences in Australia your role is based at Ramboll's Melbourne Office.
Typical responsibilities of this position may include:
You will be involved in assisting the Health Sciences Team in the development of new projects with the preparation of sales presentations, analysis of client and client needs, preparation of proposals, market analysis, and similar. Our aim is to grow the Health Sciences practice in Australia. You will take on this fulfilling key role in expanding the operation and growing our competencies of the Health Sciences team in the region.

- Stay current with changes in regulatory landscape affecting Ramboll's clients and maintain contacts and relationships with regulatory authorities.
- Able to assess the impact of new regional regulations on the business and participates in actions to assist our clients in dealing with the implementation of these new regulations.

- Manages assigned projects/tasks providing critical thinking (with ability for thought leadership) in areas of expertise
- Ability to work with multi-faceted team on projects under limited supervision but the awareness to seek guidance from senior staff members, as needed

**Qualifications**
Desired skills/experience
- 3 - 7 years of working experience in chemical regulatory compliance, preferably in the fields of industrial chemicals, consumer products, biocides or agrochemicals
- Scientific background preferably with a degree in chemistry, biology or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of chemical regulations in the region such as the Australian Industrial Chemical Introduction Scheme (AICIS), Therapeutic Goods Administration Act (TGA), Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (AVPMA) and the New Zealand Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act (HSNO)
- Ability to support internal and external clients with both technical and strategic consulting services
- Interest in business development
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good presentation skills and business sense
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated personal commitment to achieving high standards for quality and excellence in technical work products
- Possess a drive and personal initiative to keep learning and improving in the chosen field.
