Cost Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cost Controller to join our Lombrum team Supporting our Lombrum Project on Manus Island in PNG, you will be a vital member in a well-oiled and supportive team. Our Cost Controller will FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns to Manus Island working a 28 day on 14 day off roster.

In this role you will effectively be responsible for providing cost expertise through timely monitoring, controlling, analysing, and reporting of project cost & progress information with strong focus on trending, forecasting and management of change to contribute towards proactively influencing cost outcomes on the project.

This role would be suitable for a recent Graduate or a Junior Cost Controller seeking to take their next step in their career and want project site exposure.

Your focus will include:
- Assist cost team in establishing and monitoring project baseline budgets and overall budget reporting- Preparation of project forecasting, collecting and reporting actual project workhours, quantities designed and installed, and assist in preparation of accruals- Support management of change control and performance trending across the project functions to support early notification to project management- Participate in KPI reporting and project daily, weekly, and monthly internal and external reporting, and change impacts is maintained through the risk and MOC registers- Participate in project risk and opportunity reviews on a minimum monthly frequency

What you will bring to the team:
- Degree qualification in Finance or Accounting (or related)- Exposure to project cost controls and knowledge of cost management methodologies and cost management tools- Familiarity within building, construction or infrastructure industries- At least 1 years' experience in a similar role is preferred
