**General Practice - Women's Health**

Murrumbidgee Local Health District (LHD) strives to support people of NSW to access high-quality rural healthcare in their local communities.

**What you'll be doing**

The Women's Health GP VMO will provide contemporary comprehensive and professional specialist services in General Practice that are safe, effective, evidenced based and patient centered.

Requirements of the role include
- Working 1 day per week at the Wagga Wagga Women's Health Clinic
- Position will be most suited to qualified General Practitioners with an interest in Women's Health delivering consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient and telehealth services, with a focus on women who are most vulnerable and or experiencing health inequities.
- The provision of education and support to the Women's Health team and other clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

Selection Criteria
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the RACGP/ ACRRM/RACP and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Minimum three (3) years post graduate clinical experience with demonstrated interest in Women's Health.
- Knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, and research and quality improvement.
- Demonstrated commitment to behaviours which align to the NSW Health CORE values and MLHD Values, goals and strategies.
